Senior commanders of the Armed Forces met with Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei, the esteemed Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
In this meeting, the Leader of the Revolution described “intelligent combat readiness for a powerful confrontation with the enemies” as one of the requirements of “maximum deterrence,” and ordered that every level and type of threat must be met with an immediate and effective response, without geographical limitation.
Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei stated explicitly: If the enemies once again begin military or terrorist attacks, it is the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation who will determine the time and conditions of their end.
The Commander-in-Chief also emphasized strengthening the architecture of military intelligence; deepening indigenous defense in the two domains of “doctrine” and “tactics”; the growth of up-to-date defense and security capabilities through the use of new technologies; and the reinforcement of spiritual strength and the jihadi spirit, alongside tireless efforts to meet the livelihood needs of the Armed Forces and to support them.
In another part of the Commander-in-Chief’s directives, it was ordered that the target bank be updated in such a way that the various tangible and intangible assets of the American-Zionist enemy are placed within range of the Armed Forces.
He described national support for the Armed Forces as one of the pillars of deterrence against Iran-hating foreigners and their domestic mercenaries, and added: The eight-month presence of the risen nation in the public squares is a continuation of the eight-year Sacred Defense, which, in parallel with the steadfastness of the military, law enforcement and Basij forces, has protected and will continue to protect the territorial integrity of Iran and the Islamic system.
Expressing appreciation for the intelligent steadfastness of the Resistance Front in various countries, the esteemed Leader of the Islamic Revolution described the unity of fronts as a decisive variable with strategic impact on shaping the new political and security order in West Asia, and expressed hope that this new order would increasingly pave the way for the unity of Islamic nations and governments toward the formation of the new Islamic civilization.
IRGC Major General Abdollahi, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces; Army Major General Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of the Army; and IRGC Major General Vahidi, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in their meeting with the Commander-in-Chief, presented reports on the state of readiness of the country’s defenders on the shores of the Persian Gulf, in the operational zones of the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman, and along the country’s northwestern and southeastern borders, and also briefed him on the manifold increase in the production of various types of munitions and of reconnaissance, support and combat weapons.
